The journey through this course has helped to reshape the way I view digital marketing. Marketing is more than just a way to spread word about your brand but it is also important to the environment for the seeds to grow. There is so much planning and research that must go into a good marketing plan and yet there is never an arrival point. Understanding audience behavior, engagement while maintaining authenticity are essential to building a strong brand. Social media is a tool to help build up an ecosystem that could be influential in any businesses success. Everything comes back to branding and establishing who you are and what you do. Once that is understood, we can begin to identify our audiences through profiles and methods to reach our target audience. Not only that, but we can establish more trust in the brand through utilizing influencer or brand ambassador programs.
Video production is what Cherubim Production is about so this allowed me to understand there are other avenues such as content creation that the company could pursue in the field of digital marketing. Video content is a big part of social media and many people view them on their mobile devices. I could advertise my services in every project through the creativity, authenticity and quality I produce. I’m still working on how to improve my influencer pitches, but I understand the importance of having trusted voices who align with the brand's persona, speak up for the brand. Also, although AI is a powerful tool, I should use it as an assistant to improve creativity not to replace it, as AI is not as creative. Authenticity is how I will be able to separate myself from the competition, so it is important to lean into the brand’s mission.
